Harrah's Announces Dates for 2008 WSOP

Next summer's 39th annual World Series of Poker will take place from May 30th through July 17th. The action returns to Las Vegas's Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, which has been home to the WSOP for the past four years. A schedule detailing the specific WSOP events has yet to be released by Harrah's Entertainment.

To help combat the long registration lines seen at last year's WSOP, the WSOP tournament room will open on May 26th. This will give players a chance to register early and avoid long waiting lines.
